Molly Tarlov (born November 11 31st, 1981) is an American actor, most well-known from 2011 on for her character of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov was the second of two daughters born and raised by her grandparents in Manhattan. Tarlov began her professional career at the age of 10 when she was Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was well-loved by a group of seventh graders. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's degree in theatre. The Atlantic Theater Company also taught her, and she was able to integrate writing in to her performances through the LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly exchanged her winter coat for black sunglasses, and headed for Los Angeles. Her quick rise to fame was when she landed a three word role on iCarly that attracted a lot of interest from her parents. Since then, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. The actress also developed the character of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a professional basketball player who is convinced that she's more talented than she actually is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
