Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 during an Olympic occasion. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci when she was six. She would later be Romania's gymnastics coach. She first competed at the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. Then in the year 1970, she was crowned champion. In 1972, during a meet of communist countries juniors before the Olympics, she won three gold medals. After that, in 1973 and '74 she was the junior champion in all aspects. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. This was the first time she participated as an adult. She won the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first woman in history to complete the backward double salto in dismounting from the uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in entertainment as a teenager in which she was a part of the figure skating duo of their sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol ventured into the entertainment business in her teens. At the age of 13 Carol was an ice figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The shows were ice skating performances that were accompanied by theatrical music.
